Baseball Corridor of Famer Whitey Herzog, who gained a World Collection as supervisor with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1982, has died, the crew introduced Tuesday. He was 92.
“The complete Cardinals household is heartbroken to study of the passing of Corridor of Famer and World Collection champion supervisor Whitey Herzog on the age of 92,” the Cardinals stated in a press release posted to X.
