Former MLB infielder Yuniesky Betancourt was arrested final week for alleged insurance coverage fraud.

Miami-Dade Police say Betancourt is certainly one of 4 “rip-off artists,” with the scheme paying out $61,000.

Betancourt was charged with 4 felonies — submitting false insurance coverage claims, an organized scheme to defraud, faking an accident and third-degree grand theft. He paid a $1,000 bond.
