Union employees have referred to as off strikes at liquefied pure fuel services belonging to Chevron in Australia, ending a standoff that would have affected about 7% of worldwide LNG provide.

Each Chevron (CVX) and Offshore Alliance, which represents the Australian Employees’ Union and the Maritime Union of Australia, stated Friday that they had accepted new employment agreements proposed by Australia’s Honest Work Fee, the office relations tribunal.

Unions “will now work with Chevron to finalize the drafting of the three agreements and members will quickly stop present industrial motion,” the alliance stated in a press release.

Employees at Chevron’s Gorgon and Wheatstone services started strolling off the job two weeks in the past over pay and circumstances.
